Annual Hanukkah Party
The candles were definitely burning bright at Temple Moses’ third annual “Hanukkah Extravaganza”, this past Sunday the 10th of December, when our community gathered together to celebrate the 5th night of Hanukkah. Children young and old alike crowded around the table to learn how to make oil, for our Hannukiah, the way our ancestors did. Dreidals spun on table tops, and “Gelt” was won all around. Thanks to our many amazing sponsors, we were able to create a wonderful affair, where all our children, were able to win prizes at our Carnival, jump in our bounce house, and even velcro themselves to a velcro wall. Our new caterer prepared a variety of pastas and salads, Latkes and Sufganiyot, that had everyone in attendance cleaning off their plates, and coming back for seconds. Many lucky winners, even walked away with handfuls of prizes, won in our raffle. With all the hard work that our volunteers and Board members put in, this event is sure to be remembered as one of Temple Moses’ finer days.
